The Caribbean Resilient Renewable Energy Infrastructure Investment Facility (RREIIF) Project provides countries access to regional IDA to address funding needs for more renewable energy integration investment in their grids. The regional support will allow these countries to address their barriers related to scale and leverage regional IDA support, and it will ensure that national IDA will be focused on the immediate needs of these countries in terms of social sectors and disaster management.

Grenada (the Recipient) will implement the Caribbean Resilient Renewable Energy Infrastructure Investment Facility Project, with the involvement of the Ministry of Climate Resilience, the Environment and Renewable Energy, as set out in the Financing Agreement and the Grant Agreement.

This integrated document contains the ESCPs for Guyana, Saint Lucia, Grenada, OECS Commission and Caribbean Centre for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (CCREEE).

The consulting services (“the Services”) include the expertise of an Administrative Secretary, in accordance with the Loan Agreement and World Bank Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers to provide overall administrative and secretarial support to ensure smooth implementation of the OECS Skills and Innovation Project in Grenada. The project will be implemented during the period 2024 to 2030, and the successful candidate is expected to commence duties in March 2025.

The consulting services (“the Services”) include the expertise of a Communication Specialist, in accordance with the Loan Agreement and World Bank Procurement Regulation for IPF Borrowers to provide overall communications and public awareness of the OECS Skills and Innovation Project.

The Government of Grenada has secured financing from the World Bank to support the Unleashing the Blue Economy of the Caribbean Project (UBEC). It intends to use part of these funds for consulting services for the Update and development of a National Waste Policy and a National Plastic Action Plan.

The Division of Youth within the Ministry of Youth & Sports launched its Community Support Grant Fund which aims to support youth-led organizations, National Youth Parliamentarians, and National Youth Ambassadors with community-based projects that address the needs of young people, promoting their personal growth and development.

This Resettlement Action Plan (RAP) has been prepared for the reconstruction of the Balthazar Bridge under the Grenada Resilience Improvement Project (GRIP) and in accordance with the World Bank’s (WB) Environmental and Social Framework (ESF) on Land Acquisition, restriction of land use and involuntary resettlement.
